Instructions:
- In a pressure cooker, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until softened.
- Add the ginger garlic paste and cook for another minute.
- Add the tomatoes and cook until they are soft and mushy.
- Add the coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and amchur powder. Mix well.
- Add the chickpeas, salt, and enough water to cover the chickpeas.
- Close the pressure cooker and cook on high heat for 2 whistles.
- Reduce the heat to low and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let the pressure release naturally.
- Once the pressure has released, open the pressure cooker and mash some of the chickpeas to thicken the gravy.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with rice or roti.
